Site closure with outplacement services
The closure of a production site is always a sad event from the local perspective: behind the jobs that are being lost lie individual fates, and the balance of these changes will probably only be drawn up years later.
Savencia Fromage & Dairy Hungary operated with its headquarters in Budapest and factories in Veszprém and Répcelak until 2025. The international group decided to expand the Veszprém plant and close the Répcelak plant. (https://index.hu/gazdasag/2025/07/02/bezaras-repcelak-atszervezes-pannontej-savencia-sajt/) After a while, the question was no longer whether there would be a reduction in staff, but how.
The company offered the following to the employees affected by the closure:
- generous financial support,
- organized job search forums,
- offered positions in Veszprém, Budapest and in foreign factories.
In addition to all this, it offered additional outplacement services, which our company provided during the summer-autumn of 2025. As part of our cooperation,
- we provided mental and emotional support in the form of personal conversations,
- job search advice,
- CV writing, LinkedIn profile improvement,
- interview preparation,
- development of skills important in the labor market,
- entrepreneurship skills upon request, and
- coaching and language training for some employees transferred to other units.
During the work, we gained a lot of experience about what really proved to be a useful development in the eyes of employees in difficult situations, and in more than one case we can say that we live on with grateful hearts. We wish them much success in their new beginning, and we would also like to thank our client for their trust!
